PTH 892 Pathology Seminar — 2 credits
PTH 851 Advanced General Pathology — 3 credits
Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Cell Biology — 6 credits
Statistics, Experimental Design or Epidemiology — 6 credits
Research Ethics (KIN 895 recommended) — 1 credit

The above listed courses account for 18 required credits, leaving at least six additional credits to be filled as electives as determined by the student in consultation with their major adviser and guidance committee. Students may have to enroll in additional electives or special problems courses in order to fully explore their area of research specialization if required by the major adviser and the guidance committee.

These requirements may only be waived by having completed similar courses elsewhere and require approval of student's dissertation committee, PDI graduate student coordinator and the PDI chairperson.
